Golden Sculptures

Golden Sculptures 2005. These are abstract representations of basic human feelings: love, friendship, ecstasy. They are made out of stoneware, first fired with glazed, and then with gold. I wanted the Nightingale Column to look like bronze, and, for the other four sculptures, I used a shiny glaze that gives them a miraculous brightness. The shapes are simple, minimalist, but powerful and feminine.
